Four Pillars of Running a Faith Based Business

When you are a believer, then your business is a part of your walk with God. As a business owners who follows the Word, there must be some foundation used that will help you run your business God’s way; so that success comes as a result of our obedience. The Word tells us that if we delight in the Lord then He will give us the desires of our heart. Our desires ultimately stem from the will of God in our lives; and when we connect to that, success finds us.

Integrity is how we behave when no one is looking. It is this type of attitude that we must carry with us in all that we do. It is not a sign of integrity when we  lose sense of our values. We have to ask ourselves if we are willing to cut corners or continue to live by our values. There are definitely consequences to our self image when we compromise on our beliefs.

They say that it can take as little as two weeks to make or break a habit. It takes less time than that to destroy a lifetime of integrity. When you live by a belief system, your actions are guided by it on a daily basis. You won’t just go out and hit someone with your car if you value human life. When it comes to having an online business, there are many things to consider. The first, of course, is what that business will be. That can pose an issue for some because there are so many options available for online businesses.  I for one had this problem. I did not know which way to go. However with some guidance, good coaching, a supportive mastermind group, and prayer I was able to find a path that fit me.

I started my ventures online with coaching. I soon found out that I did not know the online business market like I did the offline one. They had some similarities but the differences were extreme. So I moved from coaching and teaching to internet marketing with a site for the vegan family or those who wanted to learn more about healthier alternatives to eating.
