Why Integration From The Wholeness Perspective

For those of us who are in business, it may seem that business is a separate part of who we are. However, this is far from the truth and reality of life. The fact is, especially for the Believer, that we cannot segment or separate our lives.

Business resources and tools are great but if your life is not in balanced then your business will feel it; therefore your life determines your business not the other way around.  This is where a lot of people are making the mistakes. I know because I did.

We are not defined by the business we have but by the life we live and that is why life and business integration is important. Our business is simply an extension of the life we live. Our personality, passion, and purpose all flow from the life we live and it helps us to develop the business we start and grow.

This is how God intended. There are many well meaning Believers who think that faith and business do not mix. I beg to differ because faith stems from belief that resides deep down in your heart. That same faith is what we went to God with when we decided to go into business. We asked him to bless us on the journey but then we let the faith take a sidebar while we went forward with what we planned; never once wondering if it was in God’s PLAN.

The perfect example is the Proverb woman. She was not praised and blessed because of all the stuff she did or the business she had. She was honored and praised because she feared the Lord and He was the center of her life. Her faith is what kept her going – not her kids, her man or even the business. It was the faith she had that if she obeyed God’s lead then her life would be tremendously blessed.

That is why she was able to grow a business that was fruitful and prosperous. She let GOD lead while she followed.

The faith she had was her balancing beam. She understood that life with God is risky but on worth taking because she saw the proof in the pudding. She knew the stories of Moses, David, Job, Rehab, Joseph the rest who relied on God to help them in their life.

Life and Business integration is what her life was. Her passion, skills, personality, spiritual gifts and all that she was allowed her to build the business God designed for her.

YES, God wants to design your business. He has given you everything you need to get the job done. You just have to find it! Or better yet, you need to step into your authentic path.

Life and business integration is all about you learning to find the balance that comes from connecting to the whole person. I am not offering a service that will make you money but what I am offering help you become more balanced and able to create the business you desire and God Planned.

Too many faith-filled entrepreneurs are operating on their wisdom and thoughts without seeking out God and asking for His wisdom to help guide their business. It is time to take the example of the Proverb Woman and build businesses that please and honor God!
